Extreme weather at seasonal storage facilities can pose a serious risk to your mobile tagging trailers. During two recent severe weather events, trailers in seasonal storage were either damaged or at risk because of flooding and high winds.
NMT recommends selecting storage sites that provide the best possible environmental protection during long term storage. If at all possible, avoid flood plains. During high wind events, orient the trailer into the prevailing storm winds. Taking the extra time and effort to prepare for extreme conditions will help reduce potential catastrophic loss.
Should you experience a loss, NMT will work to expedite repair or replacement in order to limit down time this coming spring.
